Please dont be confused that he launched Tata Nano therefore he is my role model. I will give some examples then u will understand why he is.
    1. Acquisition of Tetely tea by Tata tea in 2000, crossing all the barriers he successfully acquired Tetely.
    2. Acquistion of Corus by Tata Steel in 2005-06, i dont know how many of u r aware that, Jamshedji Tata built Indias 1st Indigenous Steel Plant in 1905 at that time corus was establised player in market, Tata asked them to help him, but corus simply refused to help taunting U Indians Can Not Make Steel, Tatas took this challenge and built the Steel Plant & then Tatas said, "We Also Make Steel". This is what the answer by Jamshedji, and then his succeeder Ratan Tata Bought Corus exactly after 100 years. thats what the Passion is..

  4. If I were to choose my inspirational personality of the millennium then it would be My Mom.
Because she is the most non-judgmental, kind person I ever knew. She taught me how to love unconditionally. She had a place in her heart for everyone, despite their flaws. She is extremely intelligent and fiercely protective of her children. I aspire to be even a fraction of My Mom.

secondly it would b sachin tendulkar, coz, of his character... Everybody knows Sachin Tendulkar is the greatest batsman ever walked on the planet. Every sportsman has skill, talent, etc. They may get an immediate and short time success and popularity in their career and soon loose form and disappear as nonentity. But Sachin stands above the time. It is not because of his skill but because of his character.
i chosen sachin as my inspirational personality , coz of his high level tolerance, calmness, patiency, being positive in all circumstance.

  6. if I were to choose my inspirational personality of the millennium...

In my list for 'inspirational personality of the millennium', there were many nominations; but only one led upfront by miles. With a towering presence & a very huge fan following yet so down to Earth......I choose him, the Prince of Kolkata "SAURAV GANGULY". “On off-side first there`s GOD & then there`s SAURAV GANGULY” was the most calibrated statement for his talent. Who needs description about this infamous personality inundated with optimistic views, the classy best player of off-spin & biggest trauma for spin wagon.
After he being dumped by his very own cricketing circle for which he devoted all his life making them MEN IN BLUE, he was shocked & shattered with his omission from International Cricket as a player too. With all heights that one could only dream off under his belt, he could have easily given up to his fate… but he refused to give up….this is the most attractive quality that he posses because of which he resurfaced from the deep black waters of hell with a big bang that even the deaf could hear clearly.

  7. hmm an inspirational personality of the millennium wud b sum1 who actually inspires me whom i know myself very well n is undoubtedly my MOTHER. no filmstar, sportsman or any celebrity can inspire others unless n untill u accept those characteristics in ur life, that in wat way how he/she inspired u(and most importantly r u following it or jus for the sake of sayin??) for me my mother has taught me how 2 accept the ups n downs in ur life , wen u r at the peak level n goin thru a bad phase of life, if sum1 helps u once then help dat prsn 10times, never follow tit for tat policy cos dat wil only shatter ur any relationship.(if taken wid a -ve attitude) flow wid flow of life n stop predicting high n low tides of life, always mould urself how the container wants u 2 shape up, if u get a negative comment take it in a +ve way wich indirectly is correctin u . i have inherited all these qualities from her n still following her footsteps of seeing n accepting life differently.(stil the list goes on...) she is truly an inspirer n a motivator in my life.....

  10. The second millennium saw many great personalities. Personalities like Gengis Khan who founded the Moghul Empire, Leonardo Da Vinci who still inspires the world with his paintings, William Shakesphere whose understanding of the characters still inspires a lot of writers, Mangal Pandey who was the first person to raise his voice against the British Empire and Sir Winston Churchill who led the United Kingdom to win the second world war - a war that they had almost lost.

Having so many personalities to pick from, I can not just pick one. Rather, I would pick several personalities who inspire me to do things differently. I learnt perseverance from several sportsmen like Michael Jordan and Lance Armstrong who never gave up even after losing rather they worked harder after loss. Steven Jobs taught me to accept life as it came because in hind sight, the dots always connect. The freedom fighters like Subhashchandra Bose, Bhagat Singh and Gandhiji to be passionate about the cause you are fighting for. Mother Teresa taught me how to be kind and considerate towards those who are not as fortunate as I am. Sir Winston Churchill and Hitler taught me how important it is to be a good orator if you want to be listened to whereas Leonardo Da Vinci taught me to let my work speak for itself!
