  1. MBA is just a start up push for an individual to enter into the managerial cadre. But how many of those who do their MBA are fit for the managers post is a question.since it depends all on the skills and apititude of an individual.MBA makes you ready to face the management side of the corporates. How an individual reacts to this aspect depends on an MBA but himself/herself.Its a question to be asked whether can i lead a team?Whether can i think far beyond others in the organisation?whether i can stabilise a crisis situation?how fae can i analyse?these cannot be put into an individual its by natural he should have it or he shud have a knack of developing them.A manager shud be a quick learner becuase he has to think dynamically always.

  3. MBA is a degree which has already known to almost every student. It is becoming a common thing but it has a thing which makes the student to opt for it which is th x factor. It changes the attitude of the student and makes him professional in his respective field. In today's world it is important to be unique and to become professional to enter into the corporate world. And now to be a manager u may not do a mba but u need that attitude, hunger to acquire ur goal and positive thinking along with creating thinking. now if we say that, Mr A has done MBA from a top institute, and mr B has done from a normal institute but if Mr Ais not creative and he is not able to generate new ideas than mr B will win the race.

  4. A MANAGER is basically a human who is assigned the task to manage something. It may be a team or project. Thus to become a good manager one does not need an MBA degree. Then why is everybody behind the thing called 'MBA'.The reason is that an MBA course has people coming from different backgrounds which provides an individual to learn from others experience. So in my opinion an MBA can definately help an individual to become a good manager. But MBA alone cannot make us a good manager. To be a good manager a person must be positive , creative , have leadership quality, be hardworking , must be ready to lead by example. These all qualities cannot be inculcated in an individual my MBA alone. Hardwork and expereince are a pre-requisite. An MBA is just an icing on the cake.

  5. I think Managing skills are inherent. MBA is only a certificate, the real manager is the one who is a good leader. to do our fellowmen the most good in our power,we must lead where we can, follow where we cannot and still go with them, watching always the favorable moment helping them to another step.

MBA only can provide u guidence. Any company or a office has to have a manager to manage the affairs of the company or office. A majority of them might not possess an MBA yet do a marvelous job. HOWEVER, An MBA definitely would make them increase their efficiency and add value to their designation.

  6. YES MBA is required to become an efficient Manager, as this course nutures & channles every Individuals managerial skills. But its very true that for becoming an efficient manager its required to possess the qualities that makes Good manager otherwise no one can help in this regard. Now a days we can not give the examples of TATA's & Ambanis because gone are those days when organisations were ready to give On job training to their employees, but now a days its required to have essential raw knowledge of business which is provided by this course.

And one more thing actually all businessmans like TATA's, Ambani's, Murti's & Premjis were actually leaders, entrepreneurs so we cant call them as Managers. because there is difference between MANAGERS & ENTREPRENEURS.

  7. MBA degree gives you knowledge which can help you become good manager but may not necessarily make you one. The big bankrupt companies of the recent times were all having MBA managers where as Late Dheeru Bhai Ambani was not an MBA yet he was the best.

The MBA education teaches a students the science n art of management. It tries to motivate the students to become good managers. But it can not make them good managers.Because u can drag a horse to the river but can not force it to drink.

  8. Does an "MBA" really makes you a good manager? why this question has been raised because if we look our past the word MBA does not exist only, what really MBA teaches us,to manage things in very planned manner.we can have a example of our mother she would probably havent done the MBA but she manages our house really very well,on my point of view MBA does help in grooming one's personality but cant give the assurance of good manager.

MBA degree gives u all the attributes to be good manager, but it depends upon the person how he makes it worth

  10. I don't think it does, however, it could be helpful in some ways. To be honest, what helps me the most being a manager is my software from ax-dynamics.com. A true miracle-maker ;)
