India is a land of contradictions

  1. India is popularly known as the country for the unity in diversity .but today the meaning of the word unity has losted its meaning inthe speeches of our political fighters where a person like varun gandhi comment on the muslims ,bjp mantra of ram jamna bhoomi and congress linking to more of muslim candidates to seek their support and exploit the religios stability in india. we as educated indian does not care about caste discrimination but can hear the violent speeches on religion

  2. agreed with Anonymous, we educated indian doesn't care, but the leader who speaking is also educated...
India in 2larget exporter of rice , 5th largest exporter of wheat still many farmer commit suicide, coz, of poverty and indebtnes,

India is largest producer of milk, but still many(we can say 1/3) people goes hunger to bed everyday,

India is world’s largest center for diamond cutting and polishing. 9 out of 10 diamonds sold anywhere in the world pass through India(heard some where), but still India's poverty is at TOP,

As said india lives in Village, 3/4th of people lives in village, still only negligible 20% hospitals are built in Villages,

Number of millionaires in india has been rose at good number, but still the poverty is at its ways, the image of india for foreign investor is slum, poverty-stricken villages, crumbling infrastructure with good reason, as pollution, corruption, bureaucracy, discrimination, religious violence, child labour is still the order of the day in many states.

We can see contradiction in every sphere of life, whether it be public or private We have political ,religious leaders who preach one thing and practise another! You come across social activists showing lip sympathy to the marginalised and the downtrodden And, in personal life too, most of us wear the mask of deceptive bonhomie and backstab anyone to further his own ambitions But, this is not an entirely Indian trait, it applies equally well to the whole world.
